Monday Evening Book/Bible Study: Please join us (over Zoom) on Monday evenings at 6:00pm CST. We are using the book called Made for Goodness, by Desmond and Mpho Andrea Tutu. Bishop Tutu instructs us to stop trying to be good. Let’s find out why together. The book can be ordered from Amazon for about $11.50, but is not necessary for participation. The sessions at approximately 5:45pm CST for fellowship. We will meet using the Holy Trinity Zoom connection.
Confirmation / Reaffirmation Class opportunity: Confirmation and Reaffirmation classes are offered after Sunday Mass. See the schedule above for dates. Sessions begin at 11am and conclude by 12:30pm, held approximately every other week – for a total of 12 sessions. You are welcome to attend some/all of the sessions as you wish. Don’t worry – no memorization or testing. The sessions are designed for faith enrichment. Please let Fr. Jerry know if you intend to participate so that materials can be adequately prepared. Waupun Area Animal Shelter Open House:: The Waupun Area Animal Shelter will be hosting an open house on Saturday, October 14 from 11am until 3pm. Fr. Jerry will be offering an animal blessing at 11am. Feel free to bring your pet – whether on a leash, in a fish bowl, in a cage, or whatever. A short service will be held with individual blessings extended to those who wish to have their pets/animals blessed. You are welcome! Welsh Hymn Sing (Gamanfa Ganu): Attend the 78th annual traditional Welsh Hymn Sing (Gamanfa Ganu) sung in rich 4 part harmony at First Presbyterian Church, 121 W Florence Street in Cambria on Sunday, October 8, at 2:30pm and again at 5:30pm. “The Presbyterian Women” will serve a lovely meal in between the two sets. All proceeds from the meal will go to “Presbyterian Women” local ministries. Flu and Cold Season: We are quickly approaching cold and flu season. Covid seems to be taking a bit of an up-tick in cases. We are not requiring masks! Yet, if you feel that you would be more comfortable wearing one, please feel free to do so. Your health and well-being is very important, but at this time we feel that masking can remain voluntary. Food Pantry Donations: There is a great need at this time for ‘Toilet Paper.’ Please consider helping the Food Pantry to stock up on this item!
